In 1398, Kim Min Jae, the supreme commander of the Joseon Dynasty, falls in love for the first time and takes risks for the woman he loves. Yi Bang Won, the King’s son, helped establish the Joseon Dynasty but is not named Crown Prince, fueling his ambition to one day become King. Jin, Kim Min Jae’s son and the King’s son-in-law, is unable to engage in politics due to his position and instead seeks pleasure.
